I'm one of the only vendors who will be by your side from pajama portraits to the sparkler sendoff, so I believe it's especially important that you are comfortable with me. I work hard to craft an experience that allows us to get to know each other beyond just the initial conversation and engagement session, and I will always advocate for the portraits you value most above all else!
You want to choose a wedding photographer who you can connect with and trust.
I was a bride not too long ago and I remember exactly how overwhelming it can feel to plan a day that only happens once! After planning my own wedding and five years of photographing weddings for others, I have all of the insider tools and tips to make your wedding day as beautiful as you dream!
I believe a photographer tasked with capturing some of life's most intimate moments should operate with integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
I believe clients should receive the photos *they* want rather than just the photos we want to take.
I believe that investing in a high quality experience should feel luxurious with your legacy in mind, not just transactional.

I remember sitting in my grandma's crowded living room in Tennessee with 20 other family members as my parents set up their carousel slide projector. Before long we were belly laughing at the infamous bouffant hairstyles and the horrendous 70s fashion choices projected onto the wall.
In between laughs, we were able to relive memories of family members who were no longer with us and have conversations about the context of each photo. Each turn of the projector seemed to bring us closer together. To me, photographs are meant to be relived and not just taken. I believe in the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together.
I was born and raised on southern hospitality, and after marrying my husband Andrew, we moved to the suburbs of Washington, D.C. Even though we call Northern Virginia home, I always try to take some of that southern hospitality wherever I go. I love traveling all around the world documenting love stories for couples and families.
My love for photography has brought me everywhere from the beaches of Southern California to the Virginia countryside. Whenever I pick up my camera, I strive to create beautiful and emotional images that tell a story and showcase the beauty of both the people in the images and the world around them.
Photos remind us of the strength, courage and hope that reside in all of us the way few other things can. Even with it's ups and downs, your life, your story, are beautiful and I can't wait to create images to show that!
My husband Andrew was deployed for six months of 2020 (during the initial height of the pandemic). Before the world shut down, we were planning on reuniting in Europe and visiting Italy and France. Our plans changed, we went to the Big Island, Hawaii instead a year later and had the time of our lives...
This was the last trip I took as the world began to shut down. I went for Hybrid Collective conference 2020 and took so many images between the conference and exploring the city with new friends!
Andrew and I had never been and it was always on my bucket list to go--especially since there are so many beautiful wedding venues and vignettes throughout the city. This was a foundational trip for me where I tapped into my signature photography style!
Andrew and I put in a lot of hard work over several years between working full time (and also owning a business for me) and pursuing graduate degrees. After graduating, we jetted off to Jackson, WY to visit Grand Tetons National Park and Yellowstone!
We'll get to know each other and talk about what is most important to you and I will create a custom package that ensures you get exactly what you're looking for!
