I met Andrea at a Starbucks during a torrential thunderstorm for a potential bride consult, and what started off as a short overview about everything included in my wedding package turned into a two-hour long conversation about her wedding day dreams and plans. I think that’s when we both knew she was meant to be a Lauren Thompson Bride! We waited out the storm by browsing her saved inspiration images and talking through the craziness it is planning a wedding in Northern Virginia. A brief couple of months after this coffee-shop conversation, I finally met the James that made her so smitten and determined for a perfect day!

Andrea is such a bubbly and bright person, and James seems to provide a calming presence that balances them both out. Talk about a match made! I cannot wait to photograph their beautiful Country Club of Fairfax wedding in just over a week because I’ll finally get to see all of the beautiful details we dreamed over in that Starbucks!
