I know I have talked about this before, so I talk about it too much, BUT… I love shooting engagement sessions at the Washington D.C. Monuments at sunrise! Sunrise is such an intimate and romantic time to take photos as there are not many people around; we can explore and do our own thing without having to worry about a ton of people. 

I had the pleasure of photographing Lara and Colton last year at the Monuments. It was such a great morning! The morning was a little overcast, but that’s ok because their smiles brightened the morning up. 

We started the morning at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. We then made our way down the cobblestone path to my favorite garden area that is surrounded by gorgeous trees that leads us to a bench where you can sit in silence and watch the earth move. It is a very serene area!
