Marilou and George tied the knot with a beautiful church ceremony at Iglesia Ni Cristo in Temple Hills, MD and an elegant reception at Chima Brazilian Steakhouse in Tyson’s Corner after a year and a half together! I first met Marilou and George on a FREEZING morning for sunrise cherry blossom portraits at Washington D.C.’s tidal basin. We were all shivering and laughing our way through the engagement session, but I noticed just how thoughtful and caring George was toward Marilou. He was frozen to the core, but always kept a smile on his face, and more importantly on Marilou’s face too.

Perhaps even more heartwarming is their proposal story: George proposed to Marilou with a teapot just like the one Jim made for Pam in the Christmas Party episode of the Office! If that doesn’t describe their relationship then I don’t know what will! Marilou and George are the kind of people that uplift each other and just enjoy each other’s company. They felt like instant friends from the moment we first met on that bone-chilling morning, and remained that way through the hustle and bustle of their wedding day!
