Joyful, romantic, and elegant are the first three words that come to mind when I look back on the beautiful wedding day of Lauren and Franco. Colleen with O’neil Events planned and created the event of the season for Lauren and Franco’s family and friends, and I couldn’t have been happier! Check out their wedding on the blog today!
The girls had a reasonably early morning on the day of the wedding. They laughed, smiled, and enjoyed getting their hair and makeup done. It always is so much fun spending time with the ladies in the morning, learning about how they met, and the friendships they have. When the girls are getting ready, I can capture the wedding day details such as the couple’s invitations, the gown, and any family heirlooms.
While the girls were finishing up getting ready, I captured the wedding day details such as the couple’s invitations, the gown, and any family heirlooms included in their special day. I then headed down the hall to see Franco and his family and friends where they were getting ready and enjoying a shot together for good luck!
The ceremony and reception took place at the Baltimore Museum of Art. The anticipation I felt waiting for Lauren to walk down the aisle for Franco to see her was at an all-time high. While I love first looks I also love when a groom sees his bride for the first time walking down the aisle.
When Lauren finally walked down the aisle, there were happy tears from everyone in the room. Lauren looked absolutely stunning in her Pronovias gown that she purchased from Garnish Boutique. The ceremony included readings from friends and a candle lighting ceremony that their moms did together. The ceremony was decorated in lush greenery and black chivari chairs, giving off such an elegant, luxurious look.
After the ceremony, we headed straight to take bridal parties and family photos. The bridesmaids wore a gorgeous burgundy color, and the groomsmen (and one groom’s woman!) wore all black. After the photos, it was time to PARTY the night away! Lauren and Franco were immediately met with hugs and congratulations from their friends and family. We cut the cake, family and friends said speeches, we had a fantastic meal and everyone danced the night away. I just know that their family and friends had the best night of the year at Lauren and Franco’s wedding. Thank you for trusting me to shoot your wedding; I had such a fun time!
