Marriage is not something that comes naturally to anyone; you can hear everyone say that it is easy, but in reality, it is probably one of the hardest things you will do in your whole life, but in a good way.
I am an avid reader, and I will always suggest marriage books as a good reading option to do together. Marriage books are not the tell-all of marriage, but they are from an outside perspective, and they are there to help you grow and make your relationship stronger.
Here are some of my favorite marriage books that you should add to your list
Mating in Captivity: Unlocking Erotic Intelligence by Esther Perel: This book is about bringing sparks back into your marriage after a long period.
The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work by John M. Gottman: This book is filled with practical advice, as well as questionnaires and exercises to do with your partner.
Wired for Love by Stan Tatkin: This book is about how you should deal with emotional fires in your relationship before it is too late.
The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman: This book is excellent to help you better understand and communicate with each other.
Marriage Rules by Harriet Lerner: This book is about finding that it will inspire conversations that set guidelines for a successful partnership.
I hope you enjoy these options and if you are looking for something else HERE is an excellent article on more books!
